     Social Sciences

The whole set of sciences related to social sciences is divided into two types - social and humanitarian.

If the social sciences are the sciences of human behaviour. Belongs to sociology, psychology, social psychology, economics, political science, as well as anthropology and ethnography (science of peoples). social sciences ... They have many common aspects, they are closely related to each other and form a unique scientific union. A group of other disciplines joins it: philosophy, history, art history, culture studies, literary criticism. They are referred to as humanitarian knowledge. Representatives of neighbouring disciplines constantly communicate with each other and are enriched with new knowledge, so the boundaries of social philosophy, social psychology, economics, sociology and anthropology can be accepted arbitrarily.

At their intersection, interdisciplinary disciplines always appear, for example, in the union of sociology and anthropology, in the union of social anthropology, economics and psychology - economic psychology appeared.

In addition, there are integrated disciplines such as legal anthropology, sociology of law, economic sociology, cultural anthropology, psychological and economic anthropology, and historical sociology. Let's take a closer look at the distinctive features of the leading social sciences:

Economics is a science that studies the principles of organizing the economic activities of people, the relations of production, exchange, distribution and consumption formed in every society, and the production and demand of goods. forms the basis of the rational behaviour of the farmer. Economics is also studied. the behaviour of adults in market conditions. Small and large - in public and private life - people cannot take a step without being affected by economic relations... In negotiating a job, buying goods in the market, calculating our income and expenses, demanding payment of wages and even when visiting, we directly or indirectly take into account the principles of economics.

Sociology is a science that studies the relations between groups and communities of people, the nature of the structure of society, the problems of social inequality and the principles of solving social conflicts. Political science is a science that studies the phenomenon of power, the specific features of social management, and the relations that arise during the implementation of state-power activities.

Psychology is the science of the laws, mechanisms and facts of the mental life of humans and animals. The main topic of psychological thinking in antiquity and the Middle Ages is the problem of the soul. Psychologists study persistent and repetitive behavior in individuals behaviour. The focus is on the problems of perception, memory, thinking, learning and development of human personality. Modern psychology includes psychophysiology, zoopsychology and comparative psychology, social psychology, child psychology and many other fields of knowledge. pedagogical psychology, age-related psychology, labour psychology, creative psychology, medical psychology, etc.

Anthropology is the science of human origin and evolution, the study of human races and normal changes in human physical structure. Today, he studies the primitive tribes that have been preserved since primitive times in the lost corners of our planet: their customs, traditions, culture, and behaviour. Social psychology examines a small group (family, group of friends, sports team).

Social psychology is a frontier science. At the intersection of sociology and psychology, he took on tasks that his parents could not solve. It turns out that the big society affects the individual not directly but through intermediaries - small groups. The world of closest friends, acquaintances and relatives occupies a special place in our lives. We usually live not in small, but in big worlds - in a certain house, in a certain family, in a certain company, etc. The small world sometimes affects us more than the big world. Therefore, science appeared, and he was closely and very seriously engaged in it.

History is one of the most important subjects in the system of social and humanitarian knowledge. The object of his study is a person, and his activities during the existence of human civilization. The word "history" comes from Greek and means "study", or "search". Some scholars believe that the object of history study is the past. The famous French historian M. Blok strongly objected to it. "The idea that the past is capable of being an object of science is nonsense."
